Transport

Provide workable public transport and other options such as Park/Ride to connect Limerick’s hinterland with key city destinations.

Push the DEM to deliver much improved public transport and Park and Ride options to link the hospital, the City Centre and the Crescent Shopping Centre with our hinterland towns and villages, reducing traffic jams and casual car-parking in our residential suburbs such as Dooradoyle, Raheen and Ballinacurra Gardens.

Create a stronger link between the Crescent Shopping Centre and the City Centre by means of a direct tram or light rail (the infrastructure is still in place) to mitigate the competing interests of both commercial hubs by merging them as one strong and diverse retail experience for the Mid-West and beyond.
